Seminar Presentation

In the first quarter of 2019, investment in to the alternative real estate sectors represented over 50% of the total volume. This is predicated from a substantial increase in sectors such as BTR, Hotels, Student Accommodation and Healthcare. It is also combined with a lull in commercial volumes throughout the first half of 2019. This is a stark contrast to previous years.

Manchester has been the obvious market leader within the UK in the alternatives sector, with a booming residential market, substantial student population and an extremely buoyant hotel market.

This seminar will focus on the three key sectors in the investment market including PRS/Build to Rent, Hotels and Commercial Investment. We will analyse the shift in institutional demand, discuss current market trends, review each sector in detail and provide some thoughts in relation to what the remainder of 2019 has to offer. In the first quarter of 2019, investment in to the alternative real estate sectors represented over 50% of the total volume.
