Icon Outlet at the O2 Site Visit

Owned and developed in joint venture between Crosstree and AEG, the Icon Outlet is one of the UK’s most exciting new retail openings of 2018/2019.

Phase I opened in October 2018 and, after Phase II opens in July 2019, this outlet will comprise approximate 85 retail units in 200,000 sq ft of space. Icon Outlet sits alongside the O2 Arena which other adjacencies including: Mamma Mia immersive theatre, Indigo events venue, London’s largest cinema, trampolining, roof-top walks and more than 25 successful bars and restaurants. Prior to the Outlet’s opening the site attracted some 9 million visitors per annum. In 2019 visitors numbers are expected to grow to 12-13 million people.

Marion and Mark will give a brief history of the site, talk through its journey to adding Icon Outlet and will set out the retail opportunity now presented, covering catchment and leasing before giving a guided tour of the asset.

Guests should meet in the marketing suite, which is a gold and black Portakabin located about 75m to the right of the main entrance to the O2. NB this is outside of the main ‘tent’.
