IPF Webinar: Don’t Call It A Comeback… Lease Events Has Been Here For Years

After a break of several years, the IPF is pleased to reinstate the MSCI Lease Events Review in the events calendar. Join Luke Pakes, Executive Director at MSCI, and Dominic Smith, UK Head of Research at CBRE Investment Management, to hear about state of occupier demand, as revealed by tenant and landlord outcomes at lease break and expiry. Luke will present the latest MSCI data to 2023, covering the whole market, examining how changing patterns at break and lease expiry show evolving occupier demand, and highlighting areas of strength and weakness. Dominic will then present research on the CBRE IM portfolio, covering more recent periods and explaining how tenant and landlord behaviour is correlated with the strength of the rental market, and what CBRE IM’s experience in 2024 can tell us about whether occupier demand weakened or softened across the wider market.
