Midlands: The Office Landscape is Changing: How Are Owners and Investors Responding? - A Joint BCO/IPF Seminar

2017

4:30PM – 5:45PM

Cornerblock, 2 Cornwall Street, Birmingham, B3 2DL

The ways in which our offices are being used and what occupiers demand of them has never changed so rapidly and so fundamentally. The sectors which are now driving the increase in demand for office space are vastly different from the traditional services driven sectors. And in facing the “war for talent” which is driving most occupier’s relocation decisions the expectations of a new generation of employees has to be catered for.

The BCO and the IPF are at the forefront of considering how these changes are impacting on the space that is being demanded. This seminar brings together some of the leading figures both nationally and regionally to consider how the use of space is changing, how transformational change is driving occupier’s decisions, and how the development and funding community is responding.

After the presentations, there will be an opportunity to view the recently completed Cornerblock development courtesy of the event sponsors, Bruntwood. Refreshments will be provided, along with the chance to network with IPF and BCO members and fellow industry professionals after the tour and presentation.

Will include Legal & General funders and developers of some of Birmingham most prominent office schemes.
