Corridor Manchester, located to the south of the City, runs the length of Oxford Road from St Peter’s Square to Whitworth Park and has the potential to become a distinguishing feature of the Northern Economy. Collectively home to over 130,000 students, workers and local residents, Corridor Manchester’s vision, through a series of comprehensive development projects, is to be one of the top 5 innovation districts in Europe by 2025.
Bruntwood are a major stakeholder in the project with at least 7 significant schemes ranging from Circle Square – Manchester’s new neighbourhood comprising over 1m sqft of commercial floor space- to the Bright Building at Manchester Science Park. This seminar will provide an overview of these schemes, and future proposals for two new Biomedical Centres, that will fuse together to create an integrated and unique blend of educational, medical, business, residential and leisure uses. Once completed, it will create a whole new district for Manchester and will further enhance the city’s global reputation as a place to live and work.
