Situated in the heart of Manchester, Spinningfields is one of Europe’s most successful urban regeneration projects. Developed by Allied London, the £2bn project consists of 20 new buildings totaling 4.6m sqft of commercial, residential and retail space.
No 1 Spinningfields is the final major development piece of the Spinningfields master plan, comprising a 19 storey high rise designed by Simpson Haugh & Partners. The building will provide 260,000 sq ft of modern office accommodation and will feature a roof top restaurant. According to Mike Ingall, CEO of Allied London, “No 1 Spinningfields will be the district’s most imposing building to date and one of Manchester’s most stand-out office buildings”. When complete, it will be the new Regional HQ for PWC and many other high calibre organisations.
Prior to Practical Completion of the building works later this Summer, Allied London have kindly agreed to provide members of the IPF with a briefing on the project and a guided tour of the construction site, visiting level 19 to enjoy the panoramic views of this exciting city.
Places will be limited and members are advised to book as soon as possible.
