Property Stock Selection: Organisation, Incentives and Information (November 2006)
A report from the IPF/IPFET Joint Research Programme. The research examines the use of information in investment decision-making, with particular reference to stock selection decisions. The evaluation of risk and the selection of information for use in appraisal techniques are examined. Further, the interrelationships between individual investment decision-makers is examined to identify misalignment of behaviour. The research draws on behavioural theory, organisational behaviour and agency theory.
