With high profile CVAs transforming the retail property landscape, we consider the outlook for more CVAs in 2019 and beyond and the potential for investors to mitigate the risks.

DLA Piper is a leading authority on the CVA process and has provided insightful commentary on the market impact. Rowan Aspinwall will recap on fundamentals of the CVA process, lessons from recent cases, the future CVA outlook and steps that landlords are taking to protect their interests.

The British Property Federation has been working closely with its members to formulate best practice and to represent landlords’ interests in the CVA process. Stephanie Pollitt will outline the BPF’s important policy and best practice work in this area and share the latest views of property owners in the context of recent CVAs.
