Based on responses from 48 institutions and large-scale investors, the IPF’s 9th and final annual survey of investment attitudes and intentions provides an indication of the current appetite for UK residential investment, as well as disincentives for investors.
Survey participants own or manage almost £14tn of assets globally, of which UK real estate comprises c. £255bn. From the 39 contributors providing data, UK residential investment of c. £30bn represents, on average, 12.9% of their total UK real estate assets under management.
