Booking is now open for the 2019 IPF Annual Lunch.

Ticket price: £132 + VAT (£158.40 inclusive of VAT @ 20% per person). A table to seat 10 people will be £1,320 + VAT (£1,584 inc. VAT). The ticket price excludes wine and other beverages.

Tables to seat 10 to 12 people can be purchased. In addition to tables, there will also be a number of individual places for members or members with a smaller number of guests.

Pre-Lunch drinks, and a good opportunity to network, are from 11.45am and Lunch will be called at 12.30pm. Formal proceedings are due to finish at around 3pm when the bar opens and offers guests another opportunity to network.

    Sony Kapoor

    Sony Kapoor is an influential economist, financial sector expert and development practitioner. As Director of the international think tank Re-Define, Sony advises multilateral organisations, investors, central banks, as well as European and emerging economies on economic and financial policy. As CEO of the boutique Court Jesters Consulting, Mr Kapoor advises several large long-term investors and corporations on investments, technology and strategy. 

    Until recently, he also had a multidisciplinary role at the London School of Economics (LSE) as a Senior Visiting Fellow at the Development and Government Departments, and a Strategy Advisor to its Systemic Risk Centre. He was also Special Advisor to the UN Environment Programme on green finance and a member of the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council on the Future of Asset Management and Insurance and an adviser to the IMF on housing finance. Sony was also the first Chairman of the Banking Stakeholder Group at the European Banking Authority.

    An ex-investment banker, Sony has contributed substantially to improving public policy, promoting international development and reforming finance. His achievements have been widely recognised; he has been elected a Young European Leader by Friends of Europe, a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Sony is an alumnus of the London School of Economics, the University of Delhi and the Indian Institute of Technology.

Once you have submitted your booking form, your booking is provisional until you have received a confirmation email so please do not start inviting guests until you have received this confirmation. 

Please Note:  Once we have accepted your booking, a confirmation email with your invoice (or receipt for credit card payment) together with a form for your list of host and guest names will be sent to you.  

Tickets, place cards, reminders to return your host/guest list for the Lunch booklet, wine list, menu, etc., will be sent to you via post or email before the Lunch.  IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE THIS INFORMATION IT MEANS THAT WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED YOUR BOOKING.
