25th IPD/IPF Property Investment Conference
19
Nov
2015
The leading UK event for institutional property investment marks its quarter century this year and returns in November with some exceptional keynote speakers.
The programme will begin by examining the pivotal role of global energy trends in the world economy, under the expert guidance of Professor Friedbert Pflüger, King's College London, whilst the conference will close with a double-headed keynote session on technological, consumer and social innovation, spotlighting two eminent futurists.
Core sessions will focus on critical real estate issues with the first examining the pros and cons of global investment, and featuring a keynote address by Goh Kok Huat of GIC, the Singaporean sovereign wealth investor. Further sessions will include research on alpha generation and passive investment strategies and the challenges facing developers in creating the building stock needed in the UK. The regular IPF research session will present the findings from an in-depth study of international liquidity, as well as investigations into the characteristics of emerging markets and developing a framework for classifying asset quality.
