Joint IPF/SPR Seminar: European Outlook

The annual Joint SPR/IPF European Outlook Seminar will be held on Wednesday 14th September. There will be much to review, given events in the world and multiple factors affecting European real estate investment trends. The opening presentation will be given by Innes McFee, Chief Global Economist at Oxford Economics. He will discuss the latest developments in the global economy and their ramifications for Europe in particular, focussing on growth, inflation, monetary policy, supply shortages and the war in Ukraine, whilst also identifying key risks to the outlook. Sabina Reeves, Chief Economist at CBRE Investment Management, will then explore the implications for real estate investment trends and returns in key European markets. This will be followed by panel session and audience Q&A that will pick up on both the issues raised in the presentations, as well as other important trends affecting real estate investment, from Net Zero to the future of the office and retail. The panellists will include Kiran Patel, CIO of Savills Investment Management.
