Midlands: The Cass CRE Lending Report 2018 and Question Time, Birmingham
8
May
2019
Join us for a presentation and review on the findings of the Cass Business School survey into the UK commercial property lending market for the year to December 2018. In the twentieth anniversary year of the CRE Lending Report, issues being debated will include:
• The new level of maturity in the CRE financing market, presenting a low risk asset class when viewed by traditional risk measures such as LTV, ICR ratios.
• New risks are not coming from the financial sector, but from new technologies and their interactions with rental markets, tenant demand, economic growth, etc.
• New technology platforms offering debt lending outside the regulated space, with traditional lenders finding better loan structures optimising tight ROE targets.
The event will commence with a presentation of the survey results by Nicole Lux, who will then be joined by Mark Witherington and Neil Odom-Haslett for an interactive Question Time panel debate.
If you want to ask a question, please e-mail [email protected] by 1 May.
