The political landscape in the UK, Europe and the US is more volatile now than it has been since possibly the mid-20th century. Brexit, Trump and the resurgence of the far right in Europe have taught us to be ready for rapid and unpredictable change. 

The result of the 2017 UK election is yet another example. May called the snap election to strengthen her hand in the Brexit negotiations but with all votes counted, Corbyn’s Labour Party was just 16 seats away from being able to form a coalition government. 

With the recent local elections bringing mixed results for the main parties, where next for politics, the economy and the real estate sector.
