2018 has been an eventful year for retail with constant news about retailer restructurings and opinion-formers trying to predict the medium and long-term future for the sector. Much of the debate has been about high streets and shopping centres but how has retail warehousing fared both in terms of investor interest and operator demand and what might the next 5-10 years hold for this large and vital part of the UK’s shopping and leisure offer.
Andrew McGregor will provide the agents view from Knight Frank and Jonathan De Mello from Harper Dennis Hobbs will provide statistics and analysis on the state of the market. Ben Whittle from the major retailer, Dreams will then join the presenters to form a panel to discuss the state of the market and its outlook.
The format will comprise two insightful 15-minute presentations followed by a panel session chaired by Charlotte Coates.
